TypstRacer Beta
Learn Typst math notation by typing. Read a rendered formula, type the Typst source that produces it, and race the clock.

Live preview renders your input to show your progress as you type.
What you'll practice
Every race shows a real mathematical formula and asks you to reproduce it in Typst — the modern, open-source typesetting language for math. You'll build fluency with the notation that matters: powers and subscripts, fractions and roots, big operators like integrals and matrices, vectors and accents, and the full Greek alphabet! New to the syntax? Start playing with Learning mode. The syntax guide can deepen your knowledge.
How it works
- Match by rendering, not by keystrokes. You win when your input renders
to the same formula as the target, so extra or missing spaces never count against you —
a banda bare the same, whileacanda care not. - Two modes. Learning mode shows ghost text and colours each character green or red as you go; Normal mode is a clean slate for speed.
- Four difficulties. From Easy one-liners up through Multi-line derivations, with live WPM, accuracy, and time.
